25 week scan

I went to the doctor at 25 weeks in a bit of a panic because I was getting some lower abdominal pain and my ankles had swollen more than I had ever seen in my life.

Everyone thought my cankles were hilarious but it was painful so I headed for the doctor.

She checked my blood pressure and it was really high so she sent me for a scan just to make sure bubs was ok and it turned out not only was he/she ok but extremely healthy and still active as ever.

She ordered me to finish work immediately other than minor on-call work (bugger :P) and I was sent home for full bed rest.

19 week scan

At the 19 week scan the radiologist told us that I have placenta previa. Apparently this means that my placenta is low lying and very close to the opening.

He said i'll have to have another scan around 32-34 weeks to find out whether it's moved away and if not then it may mean a caesarian delivery.

Bubs was very healthy with excellent development though and was kicking like mad during the whole scan!

In my haste as a first time digi-scrapper, I failed to take notes of the creators of the papers, elements etc that I downloaded.

Where I know the creators I have credited them, however there are a number of layouts with no credits attached.

I'm currently scouring madly to update credits and I will update the second I find them but in the meantime if i've used something of yours or you recognise something and know the details of the owner, please email me and i'll add you to my credits ASAP.

I apologise to all those who's elements i've used without crediting but I swear i'm trying to find you!!!

Ok well I guess i'd better write something meaningful or at least something that gives you an idea of who I am, what I do etc.

I am a first-time housewife although my house is nothing to be proud of lol. I don't know how I kept it clean when I did work and had less time at home!!

I've been married to Macca since 24th June 2006 and I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant with our first bambino who is due on 17th June. (exactly 1 week before our first anniversary... good timing huh?!)

We don't know what sex the baby is and we're not going to find out until he/she arrives. We want the surprise at the end of the labour ordeal!! We have names picked but I'm not sharing just in case we change our minds!

I'll post some pics of the 3 scans we've had so far plus a few bits and pieces that we've got for bubs in the Blog Archive.

Other than that, have a squiz around and feel free to post comments, i'm always keen to hear what people think of me/what I do lol
